Tae Kwon Do History:  The Korean Art of Self-Defense

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that has been in existence for over 2,000 years, and to commemorate the national sport of Korea, Tae Kwon Do has become an Official Olympic Game as of the year 2000.
However, Tae Kwon Do is more than just a sport, it is also a way of life.

At Master B.C. Kim's Taw Kwon Do school, we combine the study of self defense with the practice of the sport and exercise.  Muscles are toned, flexibility is increased, and reflexes are sharpened as the mind and body learn to work together.  Tae Kwon Do students learn a proven method of self discipline, and through this study they develop both the physical strength and inner confidence they will need as they progress from the beginning stages of the white belt to the ultimate victory of the black belt!

Tae Kwon Do is a sport for everyone.  All can benefit from its aerobic style training--young, old, men, women, singles, and families.  All start at the same place, and with determination and spirit, anyone can climb to their highest levels of potential.
